During my bachelors degree, I gained a solid understanding of the audio production process, how assets are created, mixed, and mastered. Delving deeper into the world of sound, receiving multiple film festival awards, including ‘Best Audio’ with my work on short films and first feature length project. This allowed me to demonstrate my deep knowledge of foley and field recording skills. During this time, I demonstrated leadership, drive, creativity, and collaboration skills, working with the audio professors to implement a new senior level class within the university’s curriculum titled ‘FMTV 474: Mixing for Film and Television’. Along with the implementation of this new class, I became a founding member of the Audio Production Club, bringing together diverse talent, with a passion for sound production, as Head of Film Audio.
Throughout my master's program, I sought to build a greater knowledge of the video game industry, collaborating with peers in animation and game design. Through diverse coursework, I gained strong technical skills, honed teamwork abilities, and embraced a collaborative approach. Professional and self-development training sessions have expanded my skill set, while hands-on experience taught me effective team communication with students from international backgrounds. Serving as my faculty’s representative for the University's Students' Union, I advocated for student perspectives, facilitating communication between peers and program leaders, and honing my leadership skills in a team setting.
